I am new to crafting in DF. I chose Leatherworking. Well, then I decided to experiment with the recipe difficulty reagent. Now I cannot train new recipes from the trainer bc the skill requirement is too high. I do not see a way to raise the skill level. Anyone ever run into this or know what is wrong?
Try reloading your user interface.
If that does not help try logging out and back in.

Or try explaining what you mean with more precision. There are several different ways to interpret your description of your problem. Without a better understanding of the exact problem it will be difficult to make a more concrete recommendation for how to help you fix it.
Okay, I’ll try to be more descriptive. I cannot buy new training recipes from the trainer in order to continue leveling LW. I show the next set of recipes at skill 20, but I am stuck at 15 with no way of leveling to 20. It’s weird. I tried unlearning LW and learning it again. What happens is what would be at skill 10 goes to 15 and then it goes to 20. I have no way of then going forward to obtain skill level 20.
If you’re at 15 in dragonflight LW, try crafting durable packs to get up to 20. It is learned at 15 leatherworking.
Uncheck First time craft in the filter.
I’m having trouble on finding where I can train for that.
At the leatherworking tent in Valdrakken, you’ll see an NPC named Hideshaper Koruz. If you have a coordinates addon, he’s at approximately 28.64, 61.36
