Difficulty for M+ increased, but rewards decreased

I’d be perfectly happy if my class didn’t suck. I mean, quest mobs take so long to die it makes me want to slam my head into the monitor. And Torghast makes me log out when I even think of doing it. I used to heroic raid, just picked up the expansion for a bit of fun. So far I’m not finding it, can’t imagine I’ll continue my sub after the free month I got with Shadowlands.

did anyone else picture a whipping sound and a malefic voice yelling “suffer, insect” ?

I have so little motivation at this point that I spend more time on the forums and afk in game then actually doing runs. I unsubbed because I found that I am running dungeons with the expectation now to not have anything drop. Or worse have it be on of the four slots were it wouldn’t be an upgrade.

If M+ was so popular I don’t see the problem with devoting some of the resources used to create raids to instead develop a new dungeon every patch. Alternatively start adding some of the older dungeons on a weekly cycle. That could alleviate some of the monotony of running the same 8 dungeons repeatedly.

If they really want people to raid start adding tier sets back into the game. One for M+ and one for raid. The sets only work in the content they drop from. Its an easy solution to quite frankly a problem that isn’t a problem at all. If people don’t want to raid let raiding die out.

I think I’ve spent 30k on consumables to ensure we time keys in order to increase the drop rate. I’ve finally stopped because I can’t afford it and it wasn’t like I was benefiting any way.

The worst part is to see someone who had a lower ilvl and was only dealing half the damage you did in the dungeon suddenly break 205 ilvl and be running +10 keys while your still stuck at +6’s because of rng.

I remember running ToC over 70 times in the hope that the AP trinket would drop and it never did. I ran ICC weekly and never saw a single drop the entirety that it was the current tier. This sucked and ended up causing me to take time away from the game. I don’t want to go back to a 10 year old system were you are held back because the game gives you the middle finger.

raiding wasnt the issue
it was titanforging
they removed that but then they went a step further idk why and its awful

I do remember a ton of posts and threads about raiding participation being down because it was easier and/or more efficient to gear in M+.

Many people would clear heroic and out gear it before getting AOTC and in some cases before they even set foot into a raid. This happened even in 8.3 when they removed titian forging.

If it is something that is impacting the devs decisions then I think my suggestions particularly of having different tier sets would be more beneficial then what we are currently seeing.

has nothing to do withh m+ more so that you need 20 people instead of being able to flex like heroic/lfr

if you have a team all takes is 1 person to quit and 19 other people are screwed without a replacement

the outgearing issue was because of titanforging also
also community gate
needing a mythic kill exp to get on a mythic team halfway into the raid tier but you cant get a mythic kill exp without a team

nearly every issue was result of community gate keeping and titanforge there is zero reason to look for a new mythic raid team in middle of a tier

its like people wanting AOTC week 2 for groups or jobs wanting 5 year experience for entry level work

80+ runs is pretty crazy lol.

And your gear is all decked out though, so…?

8 items equipped all from > 10 keys out of your 39 timed. Probably more won but not equipped.

5 heroic items which are higher than any base mythic+ can be out of your 24 heroic kills.

Lowest item is 200 and only in 2 slots.

What is your the issue again?

Probably many more items won not equipped or given away.
