I am trying to do several quests chains through the dragon isles and I keep coming up to the issue with characters not being presented the quests like their suppose to, even with fresh characters. What is an addon that allows you to see the quests you’ve already completed as well as the future quest that is offered for that quest chain. Im having the issue of not knowing where to start and where to go. Blizz really needs to fix this issue, as far as I know theres nothing in-game that shows players this. Quests lines are getting way too complex and not knowing where to go is not fun nor adventurous and it doesn’t make me feel more heroic during the process. Anyway, Im trying to get Tavian, and so far the quests have been utterly glitchy and the phasing of the game has been a real issue with certain quests it seems. I even had to contact a GM to seek assistance to determine where I was and where I needed to go for something that was right under my nose. Has anyone had these issues and if so do you think the starting stopping point for quests lines is getting extremely muddy at times, especially for non-campaign quests.
If I recall some of the quest chains require you to have completed other questlines or at least parts of them, and some I think you need to go unlock at the faction hubs for each of the DF reps to unlock certain features. Wowhead usually can tell you what prereqs are needed. BTWQuests seems to do what you’re asking for however you just need to install the plugin for each expansion you want to track.

Yes, but I never put in a ticket. As much as I dislike it, thottbott isn’t a thing anymore, so I use wowhead. Krowi’s helps too. 
It’s a big game, it’s easy to get lost even if focused…but that’s part of the fun. I truly enjoy that everything isn’t a-b-c-done easy.
Let’s be honest, everything in game is straight forward enough to play through. If you’re digging in deeper, ya gonna need a shovel and backhoe. If you’re proficient in shoveling but not with operating the backhoe, ya might need a manual to start.
There is a difference in WoW between basic stuff like campaign quests, levelling up or getting gear and complex goals like the meta-achievement to get Taivan.
Getting Taivan is complex and difficult by design, and it is intended to be that way. You don’t need Taivan to be successful in m+ or raid, this is a bonus goal to make this special mount valuable.
Note there is currently a similar looking Bakar mount on the trade post, if you want it the easy way (recolor of the original one).

sometimes the next quest in the chain doesn’t present itself unless you either a) reload, and/or b) fly away and come back.
some steps are locked behind renown level, too.
If I remember right Taivan is locked behind rep and other things so you kinda need to be at max level (& or max rep) for the area to complete things.
