At the vendor "Norzko the Proud " in Zaralek Cavern, we see gear purchasable with Draconic Mark of Mastery. At this vendor, shamans are able to buy Knuckles of Cinderwolf. Norzko and the vendor next to him, sell the pve version of these gloves with Crit and Vers. However, Norzko also sells the pvp version of these gloves, which have a haste/mastery stat allocation. To my knowledge this is the only piece of gear that has two seperate stat allocations on a single piece of gear and the only difference is the PvE and PvP aspect of it.
Furthermore, I have done some digging and saw that the Knuckles of Cinderwolf, when obtained from the PvP section in the vault, and presumably the catalyst, will have the crit/vers allocation. This means that the ONLY way to get the mastery/haste stat allocation on these gloves is to buy the PvP version of them from the mentioned vendor with the Draconic Mark of Mastery, which we only get one of.
If you go on Wowhead, and type in Knuckles of Cinderwolf, you’ll see there are two of the same pieces there with different stats. One has haste/mastery and the other has crit/vers.
Implication: only people with knowledge that there were two separate stat allocations on the tier gloves, will have an advantage, given haste/mastery is a much better allocation.
Is this intended, or simply an oversight by blizzard? Am I the only one who has noticed this?
TLDR; Shamans see their tier gloves on the vendor in Zaralek with two different stat allocations. The only way to get one of the allocations is to use the token for that vendor. Has anyone else noticed this?
