Difference between Pristine, Exceptional and Faded notes

Hey everyone,

I may be missing something here, but is there any difference between Pristine, Exceptional and Faded notes?

For instance, if I am an Enchanter I have the option to purchase:

  • Faded Enchanter’s Research;
  • Exceptional Enchanter’s Research;
  • Pristine Enchanter’s Research.

Aside from the price, all give +10 knowledge. Why shouldn’t I just buy the Faded ones, since they are cheaper?

You can only buy one of each so it is essentially a way to increase the price for each purchase.
