The scaling has to be messed up on this. I’m level 65, I’ve tried switching specs, Lord Banehallow has over 9mil HP I have less than 100k. I have been killed 14 times in a row, I tried inviting friends to help me and they are unable to because they are phased.
I am finally giving up and moving on with my life.
This has allegedly been a problem for other warlocks on reddit for over a year. I’m really surprised this was never addressed, I feel incredibly demoralized.
Anything pre-current content is bricked. Has been for the last like what, 6 years?
It is what it is, scaling will never be tuned properly because they only care about veteran players/endgame.

My fresh from the remix level 70 warlock with 460ilvl gear couldn’t do it. I went back at 75 with about 500ilvl and it was cake.

I’m confused, why are you prioritizing doing this at a lower level?

IDK why but the felguard can hold it on his own you just will need to get his health up a few times.
Tried as afli and destro and failed miserable, changed to demo and it was a walk in the park (at lvl 70 all attemps).
This was my experience as well. I tried probably 10 times as affliction and most of the time could not even get him to phase 2. I killed him the first time after swapping to demo (even though I had no idea what I was even doing).
