1- it shouldn’t be disarmed
2- it shouldn’t be nullified throught rogue spammable stuns
3- it shouldn’t be nullified throught strikes from behind
The general premise of the game’s mechanics is that defenses are rarely countered.
Example, divine shield can only be countered by mass dispell or shattering throw, both requires casts.
Die By The Sword premise is to be good against physical, because it is garbage against magic damage. Warriors are dying through die by the sword against spellcleave every single day.
If my healer got cc’d against a wizard cleave team i need to antecipate mitigation through DBTS with 100% HP and pray to not die in 5 seconds… because if i DBTS with 50% is not enough a single interrupt on my healer kills me.
So, if die by the sword premise is to be good against physical… it means it is good against physical right? wrong.
EVEN A HEALER CAN DISARM ME.
Survival hunter.
Warriors.
Rogues.
Dk passes through my defensive.
Ret passes thought my defensive.
Monks disarm my defensive.
All stuns nullifies my defensive.
Theres too much counters against DBTS. Most of the time i need to sit on defensive stance and pray enemy players change target so i can play the game.
then stay in range of healer and intervene. This sounds like a warrior crybaby thread and all the warrior mains are coming in to defend their broken class. Warriors have been top melee for multiple expansions
I hear you. This is why leap is our best defensive. I find it is best to use DBTS to stay pushed in. That being said, as a warrior positioning is crucial. You need to know when to run in and out of the fight.
You don’t have cognition to measure simple things, i don’t expect you can measure why the most counterable main defense of the whole game shouldn’t be that counterable.
Yes, this is definitely the most efficient way to work with our tools, which doens’t mean they are ok.
Example.
Blur mitigates damage.
Blur dodges attacks.
Blur works in all angles, its not counterable from behind.
On top of that DH can become immune to everything with a second defense.
DH can fly to the sky.
They don’t need to suffer all those limitations DBTS has.
So is rogue.
All i hear from you is “wHy cAnT i zUg aNd wIN bEcaUse iM mOuth dROolIng wArRior” play defensives and dont stand in middle against caster cleaves. IDK what else to tell you
Im very capable of measuring. dh blur is a 20% wall against all damage and 50% dodge. DBTS is 100% parry chance and a 30% wall. Seems like you cant measure
You are not “very capable”.
Blur can’t be disarmed.
Blur can avoid disarm from behind.
Blur exists on top of DH immunity and fly skills.
DBTS is a standalone defense.
Every single DPS class can heal just like a warrior can with impeding victory, ignore pain.
Every single class has more defensives than warrior.
Warrior is the only class which has defensive stance which punish your damage more than it mitigates damage.
Call me what you want. Monk was the first toon i played this season even when DH was broken. And with work i hardly have time to push any rating. You stick to warrior because its guaranteed easy wins every season with its tool kit. Look back 3 expansions and see who was top melee.
Warrior damage is objectively inferior to DH, LOCK, DK, MONK.
Warrior healing with impeding victory and ignore pain is objectively inferior to Warlock healing. Warlock damage does more damage than warriors, objectively.
We already had this discussion a couple of weeks ago, the conclusion was that you were infact a FOTM reroller & that I had alts of many classes at much higher ratings than you.
Don’t make me link the thread man you’re like the biggest warrior complainer who acts like their crap doesn’t stink.
Arms can def compete with those classes atm damage wise.
Lol, 25 second cd heal for 30% hp ontop of ignore pain is pretty darn good man.
