I love how all the Chicken Littles on the forums keep running around screaming that the sky is falling every time their class gets balance tweaks. Unholy was pulling ridiculous numbers on the Beta. Keep your head on.

Relax, obviously damage was high. It’s just very typical of blizz and death knight to start very strong and immediately see nerfs posted

You writing this while not understanding numbers drive mechanics is the actual irony here.
Why are we not using Ruptured Viscera or All Will Serve, because they don’t work or they suck numbers wise?
It takes about a week and a half for them to identify bugs and make sure everything works right. The rest is numbers tuning or talent design change based on what is going on with numbers.

Also don’t tell me the team really cares that much about talents/mechanics when we have things like stealth for rogues that have been bugged for 7+ years, or Mind Control DC another 7+ year bug or clunky talent trees (I see several talents now that could be merged on all three classes I play) etc. Just stupid.
That is not how this works. You create the mechanics, decide what these things are going to do and then balance for that.
It takes them much longer than that. Certain horses were bugged for years at this point mainly ones from the Warlock.

I wasn’t talking about small things rather larger sweeping class changes present in expac design launch. These were obvious exceptions driving the point that numbers matter more.
If you want a talent specific example of numbers being king look no further than the team swapping Epidemic and Swarm in early dragon flight. That was done as a nerf so that we had to throw an extra point on the left upper which was being used for more raw damage.
Rogue, Shadow priest and dk were all reworked even though they launched great in DF. Why? Because they were all nerfed to the point the rework was needed to order the tree so as to not need to take talents that were dead talents or not strong enough to warrant two points.
Maybe 5 in 10 years. Speaking of irony you asking this when your entire goal in any thread is to troll and derail is funny. No one is immune to being called stupid in a variety of ways despite the social contract.

Numbers are meaningless until the game actually launches on live servers. You not getting this isn’t surprising given your track record. I’d explain it, but I don’t think I can dumb it down enough.
