I wasn’t awarded the correct amount of rep for some Loamm rep tokens.
3x 250 and 2x 2500 rep tokens didn’t give me the proper rep bonus due to ‘Word of a Worthy Ally’. I’m missing 5750 rep. 2x 500 rep before this and 3x 2500 rep tokens after this event worked.
This was at Loamm renown level ~9-12.
Guess you should share more details on what exactly you did:
i.e. if you have a character with full Renown or if this is your only character (AFAIK they never fixed a weird bug when a character had at least one of the 4 initial factions not-maxed, that caused the Loamm rep bonus to appear on this character even when no character on the account was close to Loamm Renown 10 or even 20, ) so we know if it should be 200% or 100% bonus.
The order of using your tokens also is important, especially when you’re talking about going from Renown 9 → 12 (which includes passing the Renown 10 threshold and losing 100% of your rep bonus).
What do you mean by “…tokens before this… and tokens after this worked”? What rep gains did you see?
I have several characters with maxed renown for all the DF factions. Happened again with another character, seems like it’s from renown 12-15 this time.
Before and after meaning before renown 9 and after renown 15, I was getting the bonus rep.
I went from 9 → 12 → 13 → 14 ->16 → 18 using the five 2500 rep tokens you get from doing the Ebyssian quest line.
So no bonus at all for a couple renown levels.
Yeah, starting at 9 you should be maxed with 5 of these tokens…
Tested it with 500 rep tokens on PTR and worked fine, but I noticed one thing… the Loamm part of “Word of a Worthy Ally” disappeared when I hit Renown 10, and the tooltip was not switching from 200% to 100% immediately, the Loamm part was completely gone for a noticeable amount of time (did a mouseover several times).
The tokens have a cooldown, so you can’t click too fast, but maybe this also happened to you, and as weird as it sounds (I hope it’s just a tooltip delay), maybe the rep bonus was really non-existent for several seconds while you were using more tokens…
Oh, you think it’s time based or maybe lag? Makes sense. I was clicking them semi slowly, maybe once every couple seconds. I’ll try giving it a minute on my next character, thanks! My main concern was being able to get barter boulders. The enchanted wyrms crest would have been nice, but I don’t actively play these characters, so no rush.
So my theory is instead of having 2 separate auras that buff 100% each and take one away at rank 10, they have a 200% one and a 100% one and switch them. They do the percentages additively with the holiday and Darkmoon bonuses. /Shrug
can confirm, there’s a few seconds after raising Loam rep above rank 9 where you don’t have a bonus. After a few seconds, it kicks in. You have to mouse-over the ‘Word of a Worthy Ally’ buff to make sure it’s kicked in before using more rep tokens.
