I’m guessing so few seem to know because it might even have a lower drop rate than the rocket. I haven’t seen anyone with it and I haven’t seen anyone get it.
I guess? this is better than the usual 50,000g for the holiday saddle? But neither option, tiny drop rate or a ton of gold, really seems that great. I dunno.
I got it yesterday, finally yay. It was the only reason I was even running the dungeon.

I think I got the Winter Veil one a day or two before it ended. Unfortunately, I have to keep doing Hallow’s End for that one.
I´ve done 358 attempts so far this year…It seems like another really low drop.
I got mine on the fourth or fifth day, after getting the rocket mount the first day last year.
I’m finding it harder and harder to care about mounts and dragonriding customization every year
its like arfus all over again lol

I got the saddle on the 3rd day on my 2nd alt this year, but the rocket… not so much.
At least the Love event is not a god-forsaken place like Arathi and you only need to zone in, TBH.
They needed to make these things for ALL of the dragonriding mounts, not just one. I don’t care about the Proto. But I would have loved it for my other drakes.
I got it the third day of the event on the first run, also got a toy yesterday on the box but no love rocket also only running alts on this daily 
If blizz isn’t going to give me the saddle or rocket, the least they could do is stop giving me toxic wastlings and fumigators masks that I already have.
Still rotating alts for it. I’m hoping someday they will make it where we can use it on all our dragons instead of just the one.
Got the saddle somewhere within kills 43 - 56 (don’t recall which character got it) yet BLR is still eluding after about 5650 kills…
0-140 on getting the Dragon rider mount armor or the X-45 Love Rocket.
I know multiple people who have gotten the mount this year and no one who has gotten this saddle. It seems to be an even lower drop rate than the rocket, which surely is a choice on Blizzard’s part. Really disappointing.
I would assume it was more or less the same basic implementation as Hallow’s End: higher drop chance in first of day box, and much lower for anything after. They very specifically said they want to get away from the gameplay loop of running alt, after alt, after alt to get things. So I wouldn’t take a super high kill count as much to go on relative to the primary daily kill they want to balance around.
Without rewards associated with the collection, I agree. I’m at over 700 mounts currently, so I’m presumably already set for the next two big mount collecting achievements that we tend to only get one of per expansion. There’s not a lot of drive to go out of my way to just be even further ahead. Drakewatcher Manuscripts should have had some kind of meta for all the related collecting achievements as well. There are twenty of those achievements, and it feels like they just dead end when they could have been a cool build up for each mount, and possibly even a big meta comprised of each mount’s meta.
Might be a neat concept if each year they introduced a new saddle per event for another Dragonriding mount. Probably a DOA idea, though, with shifting every mount to dynamic flight. I like the system a lot, but have doubts that we’ll continue to get more Manuscripts after Dragonflight.
Yep. I have the Winter Veil saddle and this one and they are on drakes I never use. Makes zero sense locking them to only one drake.
In saying that, the Love Is In The Air saddle is extremely boring with bland colors so I’m not gonna lose sleep over it.
