Did you find Sylvanna's punishment enough?

I thought it was fine. It’s probably where she would have ended up, or as a venthyr maybe. But at least this way she’s freeing souls, and we all know how awful doing that once a week was.

Why are you making the community fight like this?

You know what you have done here. The hell that is about to happen will be unreal.

I hope that one day they will grow out of being children.

They ruined such a good character. It was painful to watch them. Milked one of their best creations to death.
Should have killed her off in the raid. It diminished every other character. Tyrande on steroids chasing hunting her down, nathanos, Arthas. Wtf was that? He turned into a fart in the wind. Now the worst punishment blizz could think of is for sylvanas to collect spirits in the maw… the same weekly quest we had to do. Talk about blizz dragging their nards across our faces.
So no. Worst writing ever. Turned the best character into the worst poorly written character ever because so many others stories suffered because of it too

Not at all, she is basically doing a Maw quest we where doing for almost 2 years. I lost a little faith in Tyrande when she did execute her on the spot.

No.

People of Azeroth would’ve been happier with a corpse or a head on a stick.

A little? Lol tyrande basically took steroids for two years and then in the end she was like “ahh crap drug testing time”

Who cares about that “wanna be a king” weakling.

Aside from the Maw, I would’ve put her in Maldraxxis. She’s strong-willed, ambitious, and taken to war. Plus, the Necrolords have gotten souls that aren’t exactly sin-free before; in one of the abomination weeklies, you can find a book written by a Venthyr that claims many of those in Maldraxxis should’ve been sent to Revendreth to atone.

Wrath of the lich king was the best xpac we had…well bc was but then wolk! It was centered around Arthas

Arthas spent most of Wrath popping in and out of portals like a Scooby Doo villain.

She’ll be out in 5 years for good behavior

Wotlk had the best raid we ever had. Ulduar and that’s it.

Introduced dungeon finder that people didn’t like, copy pasted old raids, created most powerful class that dominated half of the expansions. If Wotlk didn’t had Ulduar it would be average expansion

Oh I am sure they will bring her out for the next expansion. We will probably only be given a one expansion break before “The life and times of Sylvanas” returns to it regular schedule.

Only thing we agree on. Ulduar was awesome. But so was 25 man heroic raiding with the 277 gear it was boss!! Such a good raid. Not as good as ulduar but when you got ulduar and then lk raids it was good

she will be forgiven and move over to alliance and she’ll marry the boy king.

I would actually argue the Kyrin instead. Maldrax is for warriors who’s memories give them strength, and I don’t think it’s too controversial that a lot of Sylvanna’s memories are just pain. Honestly, that little bit of quest fluff with Mograine about this was really good.

Pre-Banshee likely would’ve gone there due to her devotion to serving her people at any cost but I think after being raised she shifted too much to still get that one.

Maldraxxis is for those who have the will, ambition, and aptitude for war to best serve in the defense of the Shadowlands. The part about memories giving him strength was just describing why Mograine specifically went to Maldraxxis after spending his entire life in the service of others (which is the main reason one gets sent to be a blue pigeon).

Plus, even if the whole “retaining memories” thing was key, don’t forget that not all of Mograine’s memories were good either. His memories of Darion and his wife were positive but he also drew strength from remembering Renault’s betrayal. Sylvanas’ memories of being enslaved to Arthas were terrible but they also reinforced her drive to achieve vengeance at any cost.
