Did you ever get far then reroll?

wondering if anyone got substantial amount of levels into a class (past 40) then realized “this class isn’t for me”, not because of server or friend related reasons but purely because of how the class panned out ?

also which class, what level did you get to and why did you decide to reroll?

Well I’m 5pc t1 and level 60… and I’m rerolling to Warlock.

Hunter is supposed to be at its best right now, and it’s mediocre. Coupled with bugs that make the class not very fun to play and I just don’t really want to play it anymore.

Define far. I got to like a bar from 58, then rerolled.

Everybody should reroll around 40 or 50 and then work on the alt while you build up rest XP. Then get the alt to 20 and work on a 2nd alt.

Keep the 1x main and 2x alts and play while in rest XP. It makes the game a LOT more fun and leveling is that much faster.

I hit a hump at 40 on my hunter, now at 60 I’m rerolling to pally /shrug just not enjoying hunter as I thought I would

i got a warrior at 36 and buried him. It was just too boring and aggroing a mob the same level as you felt risky most of the time.

Having to grind green mobs and quests isn’t fun.

My druid is cool tho. Leveling has been smooth so far.

Got Druid to 51, rerolled Warlock

Got to 59 and 3/4 on my Shammy but got a bit dejected about my endgame options beyond healing…

So i rerolled a Pally!

(actually horde side seemed to be dying off so i switched. The shammy hasn’t been rerolled, i love healing)

In vanilla, got to 60 on hunter, but just couldn’t get groups for instances. Everybody wanted healers and NOBODY wanted hunters. Rerolled priest. Continued to claim hunter was my main for a while, but he got about 10% of the playtime from there on out.

I got to 55 on a priest then rerolled. I just found healing too annoying on Classic so i decided to just reroll to a warlock.

I did my fill of rerolling in vanilla. I know better now. I never reroll I alt. Alt is life

Yeah, I read the OP’s post after I posted, Johnnyderp.

This wasn’t why. Warriors are amazing (sure, solo questing sucks, but I love warriors).

Exactly this. My chosen server had massive queue times, and so I rolled on a different server to play while in-queue (on another account).

Druid.

This is exactly what I’m doing. Got my Hunter to level 43 but leveling has become painful. I’m playing a Druid until I get a solid chunk of rested XP saved up. I don’t like spending an entire night playing only to realized I dinged…like…once.

I’d rather enjoy an alt while rested XP builds.

Made lvl 50 on my UD Warrior. Shelved her.

Now I have two Alliance toons. Population is better, easier to find groups and they like DPS more. Horde on my server is just terrible for any dungeon below BRD and even BRD+ is mostly looking for tanks.

i have main, mid 40s alt, bunch of 10-20s

mains all bis/t1, so i play the other guys for fun, raid on raid days.

I may aswell add mine, I leveled a paladin as prot because I thought it would be somewhere in the ballpark of how it felt in TBC due to a lot of the same mechanics being present.

it was a struggle but I told myself, it will get better at level 31, it was a little better anyway I respec consecrate and convinced myself once I get Sanctuary it will be better! got that, helped but wasn’t as game changing as I thought.

I figured the missing ingredient was holy shield, got that too but it never really felt anywhere close to how it was in crusade, tanking dungeons feels a mess and its just been the most boring leveling experiences ever, maybe still level and make it a healer but original plans abandoned and rerolling a lock too.

I really like playing a priest. In my vanilla/BC days they were in fairly high demand on my server. Now they are everywhere. Mainly thinking of rerolling because its getting hard to find groups for 40+ dungeons unless I make the group myself, and then you have the tank problem, and I will likely be benched during raids.

I hear you, seem to be back in the day everyone wanted to dps, but classic has quite an abundance of healers, tanks seem to be the one in short supply

48 is my highest in classic and i rerolled. it was a hunter. idk a lot of stuff about the class pisses me off like ammo, quivers, dead zone, pet food, etc… so much little things hunters have to do yet damage isn’t amazing.

ammo and quivers are not too bad tbh but when you are in areas that have no ammo vendor it is annoying. right now idk im thinking of mage or lock. i like ranged/casters in general and ive mained mage for a while in retail but in classic there are so many damn mages it’s off putting to me. as far as locks idk much about them i can micromanage pets fine but soul shard farming im sure will be a pain.
