Have no idea what my character’s name means. It was the name on a cashier’s name tag at Trader Joe’s. I liked it. I used it.

I try to use realish sounding names, but the don’t always have a meaning. This one is a russian metalcore band that I was really into in high school. Have used it in some form or capacity since.

I don’t think my name originally had meaning but it gained meaning when he became my main and I joined my current guild with him 6 years ago.

Erthan is who I am now. It became my game identity.

I have a Tauren Paladin named “Bisonteen”. He is a bison teen.
And his name sound like “byzantine” (very complicated), so it’s a pun.

Ojennix sounds like a pun (eugenics) that could fit the mechagnome lore.
But I also have a character named Ojenni. Ojennix was really just an extension of that name.

I like simple to spell names that mesh with the nonplayer dialogs . I have toons in other games named Maybe , Early and Late every time I click for npc dialog its worth a giggle . I also do have some names that have meaning to me at least such as Dummyload LOL sounds harmless … but she’s not being a dps class, or my warlock Toxicrisk whos name is a sort of mnemonic, same for Krashdummy…demonhunters play style includes crashing into or over things .
