I did base Eryndra off something actually yes.
It was that weird chihuahua oracle thing from Courage the Cowardly Dog. She has the crazy eyes, hoop earrings, and a crystal ball.

I based mine on Transformers Beast Wars character of the same name. It also fit my playstyle, where I would get overconfident and complacent and then do absolutely noob mistake out of nowhere, like fall to my death or something.
