Did we learn anything from G'huun?

Current lore states that G’huun was accidentally created by the Titans in an attempt to learn more about the Old Gods.

So did they, or we, learn anything from this project (other then never to repeat this experiment ever again)? Or was this all for nothing?

Well, we saved the world, yet again.

As for the Titans learning anything…who knows? Lorewise, I find it interesting that an Old God is something that could be artificially created. Makes me wonder about the origin of a lot of powerful beings we run into.

G’huun has less to do with the background lore then Hakkar does in BfA.
Hakkar made the blood trolls, Hakkar was responsible for the devastating blood plague that crippled the nation. G’huun basicly just stole all of hakkar’s work.

Hell Hakkar is the entire reason g’huuns corruption even spread, as G’huuns blood became sentiant after Hakkars plague was mixed in it do to the incompetence of the titan keepers.

We learn that Void-aligned Sporemounds(for that is basically what G’huun is considering he is a sentient Bleeding Tooth Fungus) can co-opt Hakkar’s Blood Magic…

You’re suggesting that not all Old Gods we’ve encountered are created by the Void Lords?

The only one that could possibly be created by someone other than the Void Lords is Y’Shaarj who resembles a 7 headed snake instead of a tentacled monstrosity.

Now the Titan Keepers could have learned how to alter the Old Gods’ alignments because as anyone who looked at their spells in the Zek’voz Raid Encounter would know that the Old Gods C’Thun and Yogg-Saron once used Void primarily according to the Titans’ Databanks but now use Death Magic primarily.

Something happened to the Old Gods after Nerubians and Qiraji were already created(long after the Titans died) and that is alarming! Did Loken experiment on the Old Gods in retaliation for what they made him do or did someone else(most likely the true enemy) tamper with them?

I always assumed the re-origination device being activated was part of Yogg’s plan but now I’m not so sure. In fact, I’m certain that device would have killed the old god as well.

Yeah lol, the Old Gods were invented by the Titans, and we shouldn’t trust them.

Nothing. MOTHER didn’t get to learn anything from the experiments, since we terminated them early, and we didn’t learn anything since G’huun was a pointless filler arc.

MOTHER yells: Collection of data is imperative to combating the Old Gods. G'huun's unique biology potentially holds the answer to eliminating their threat.
Princess Talanji yells: And have you found de answer?
Brann Bronzebeard yells: Did ye find the answer?
MOTHER yells: Negative. Data inconclusive. Alternative research trials are being developed and are scheduled to be deployed in two thousand three hundred sixty four cycles.

Well in two thousand three hundred sixty four cycles these old gods better watch out, because we’re coming for them.

G’hunn can bring back dead servants like Zul, and It’s possible that other old gods have this power as well.

This could be used as a nice plot device to bring back some servants of the old gods like Cho’gall and maybe other if it’s not exclusive to the old gods servants.

We learned Old Gods bad, mkay?

If Old Gods can be artificially created, then would this be the next step?

We learned that the only raids that Blizzard will give the Horde credit for are wholly inconsequential to the expansion’s story, or even the greater setting.

Negative. We killed G’huun, so that experiment never got results. And now MOTHER is being reassigned from Uldir to the Chamber of Heart facility to heal Azeroth’s bleeding instead.

We learned that you can make some seriously boring and ugly set gear when inspired by titanic constructs…I guess.

I actually think the mail set looks pretty good.

We learn the 6 main magics mean nothing when you can do whatever the other one can do, literally the arcane made a thing of chaos and void.

The Horde has the lore kill on Neferian(first one), Zul’Garub(first one), the first half of Ahn’qiraj, Matheridon and Tempest Keep to name a few!

The only one of those that matters is Nefarian, and he survived!

Hakkar could have destroyed the planet given the chance! They Alliance could not have gotten to C’thun(I grudginly admit) without help from the Horde. Magtheridon was a personal win for the Horde and greatly weakened Illidan. Kael was also a personal enemy for the Horde.

I can’t find a reaction image for how tired this makes me.

So was Kil’jaeden. Twice.
