Did they update the Ashes of Al'ar model?

I just mounted on mine after some time, and realized it looks so damn well, I thought it was going to look very outdated, which makes me think if they updated it at some point in the recent years.

thanks haha, how do you attach it like that? also i think i’m dumb because i can’t find a way to quote your message on my reply

The forums have “trust levels”, which grant varying abilities like sharing links and posting images. The more you use the forums the more your trust level goes up. So you may just not be allowed to yet. As for how though, you just need to paste the url of the image in your post. If you’re allowed, it will work.

Still a “Pretty Bird”.

Nope, not even close. A shame, really.

some of the old mount models have aged surprisingly well and ashes is one of them

unlike the unfortunate original drakes that really show their age

Yeah, I agree with everyone else. It hasn’t been updated, but it aged better than a lot of other mounts from that time. Even a lot of Wrath’s mounts haven’t held up so well. Mimiron’s Head and Invincible are probably the biggest two that have stood the test of time.

They’ve been making small upscales in color and fidelity of several of the older mounts and outfits. I think it’s apart of thier AI system in order to match mounts and mogs to races better and avoid clipping.

But they’ve not outright increased it’s polygons or anything.

BUT I do know they updated it enough to support Dynamic Flight.
