Normally, when starting one of my level 60 alts, I follow this guide:
https://www.reddit.com/r/CompetitiveWoW/comments/zcuvsl/stepbystep_guide_how_to_gain_700000_xp_23_levels/
It gets me to level 62.
However, today I did it, on a toon that had previously did a Timewalking Dungeon, so she was already like 80% to 61, and my First Craft EXP Bonus cut out at 61.5, before I was even done with Tailoring.
Has anyone else noticed this? To note: this guide was edited and fixed for after the last nerf to First Craft Bonus exp.
The guide you link suggests that the original nerf took it down to about 400k exp total, which I think would be 1.5ish levels. Maybe you had other experience from discovery/herb/mining before?
It was a nerf after the initial nerf - there’s a reddit post I found that suggests it was nerfed another 50%, to only count the first 15 first crafts, rather than 30. (It originally was 60)
I think it is still 30. 15 crafts wouldn’t be 1.5 levels on its own. Is there an article / post that shows the 15? I know about the 30 but haven’t heard about the other.
I just tested it in-game. It’s 15 now.
Gotta love undocumented changes, eh? -.-
