Just asking because I have been farming Rabbit’s foot for about 30 min. Killed about 100 hyenas out here in Tanaris and a rabbit’s foot still hasn’t dropped for me yet.
iirc the level of your character makes a difference in what loot tables are accessible

Make a fresh character in Northshire and kill a few wolves. Shouldn’t take long to get one.
Make a brand new character …human one go kill wolves there …worked for me…got a ton of foots…
