I have noticed horde turtling more. Are they stupid or what
Maps are not balanced. Allies have a shorter trip to Relief hut than horde does to aid Station. In addition the alliance towers can shoot you while capping and the horde cannot. This makes it easier for allies to rush and encourages horde to defend. Blame Blizzard.

But coaches also pull 1st string in clear losses. Why risk injury to the 1st string in a loss that is just waiting for games end. Maybe next week will be better lol.
just dismount and pvp in mid. That 10-15 horde team in mid, isnt somehow going to magically forget you rushed south to RH flag.
Kick a bully in its teeth once in a while, the turtles will stop.
I’m glad I’m honor capped until rank 14 opens. AV is all of a sudden filled with the worst players imaginable.
This. If there is 2-3 parties of Horde that open a fight in mid, you are nearly guaranteed a turtle game. They will get a few kills, die, and immediately respawn nearby and repeat this process a few times until the initial rush is wiped. The initial Alliance rush, without any nearby graveyards, cannot beat this 10-15 man Horde group over and over without taking deaths while also simultaneously killing LTs/Galv/Towers.
So what do you do? You might as well just fight and accept you are now in a turtle game, or /afk out.

Allies aren’t any better, it’s the same players just playing like scrubs then wonder why they aren’t winning, thinking it’s a class or faction issue but not looking inwards to see they’re part of the problem.
Any game, we’ll almost any game can be a win for your team, even if they are badly geared or terrible at PVP and have the wrong spec, but the real magic I learned years ago playing horde is to get everyone on the same page by taking charge of the game and direct them to victory.
Some players are only motivated by PVP while others are motivated only by honor, so you need to mange them by different means.
If your goal is winning this means getting the PvP players to where the PVP is at that also benefits your desired outcome, so you need to call on them to PVP the situation that aids the war efforts… meanwhile getting the PvE oriented players to their objectives as fast as possible.
If it’s a chronic turtle and your desire is wins with maximum honor then get the PvE players to kill all the mini bosses and the get the rogues and druids to cap / back cap towers and bunker for your faction.
You gain more bonus points if enemy towers / bunkers burn, and gain more points per tower or bunker of yours that remains intact.
Your rogues and druids can despawn the tower / bunker guards by capping and then vanish or ranging the guards till agro drop.
There are a few points you can gain for mines also.
There is also honor to be gained on offense in PvP via PvP kills as well as defense on PvP kills; they can be very strong gains.
This isn’t so much a do this and that, but a bunch of little things that can be used to make better gains and mix things up beyond the zug van / drek meta.
Honestly it could just be fixxed if Pvp gear is only usable in PVP areas.
Aka Not in raids in dungeons.
Pvp gear still outranks raid gear in several slots.

The fast mounts of both sides always meet at blinda which is clearly on the alliance side.
