Did they muck with hitboxes?

The game feels wierd lately. My attacks dont go off so im wondering if im lagging but then notice i got to be all inside them guts for my abilities to pop off.

I know they did around when TWW launched. They gutted a few passives that gave some extra reach to melee (RIP acrobatic strikes) and messed with the ranges of some of the mobs and bosses.

Reasoning being along the lines of they wanted melee to be more up close and personal and minus the range some melee classes had been getting over the years.

World servers and latency is absolutely in the can right now. Has been since 20th anny patch. It is awful on big servers especially.

supposedly at tww pre-patch they changed base melee range to 8 (or maybe 6?) yards for every melee class and removed most or all of the bonus melee range talents.

I have noticed that melee range does feel very inconsistent, some times it feels like I need to get almost inside mobs before I can hit them and other times I can stand much further back than should be reasonable.

Would need someone to do a lot of testing to really see if there is something broken or if its just hit boxes being weird on some mobs.
