he was the king of the frostborn and he is magni’s brother, and they have are indeed good brothers as show the stormpeak questline
now in tww they gave you a quest to gather the bronzebeard and move to khaz’algar
and wheres muradin? hes just siting here in ironforge dealing with the same mundane things while his family are in danger in a foreign land, in a mission to save azeroth and the earthens in process, the same kind of frostborn that saved muradin…
Guess it’s Muradin’s turn with the Baine treatment. Just gonna make him sit it out for a while as everyone else goes and has some fun and saves the world.
Muradin isn’t one of the Three Hammers, and this isn’t the story about the BronzeBeard Bros… we did that one in Wrath, so he’s kind of redundant, narrative wise.
What, Muradin is very much one of the three hammers. Until Dagran takes the throne, he rules the Bronzebeard clan and represents them on the council. That said the only member of the three hammers in TWW is Moira because her and Dagran just happened to be in Dalaran when this all happened.
But ya I do agree Muradin doesn’t really need to be here. That said he is arguably the best Bronzebeard and doesn’t get nearly as much screentime as his brothers sadly. But it does make sense that he isn’t here cause well, he has an entire kingdom to run back home. And the meta reason for why he isn’t here, Blizz just don’t really have a story to tell about him.
aren’t they? bran said they were from uldaman, it always looked like earthern to me, which only turned blue because of the cold north
The Frostborn is a mysterious newly discovered faction of frost dwarves. Brann Bronzebeard thinks they migrated from Uldaman to the Storm Peaks
there only earthens in uldaman as far i know
The Uldaman facility is one of the facilities that the earthen were sealed in. It came to contain destabilized earthen, and the original stony variant. The stone earthen remain there to this day
i couldnt find much about them, but their model in game is so similar to uldaman earthens
How would having yet another Dwarf hanging around serve the story? He’d just be redundant filler. TLT would be the logical point to revisit him, if at all: he has roots in Northrend worth exploring.
when the alliance and horde fleet arrive we have a king (danath trollbane) and a regent (turalyon) sailing with them, surely they can have a trusted representative/emissary to keep things in check while they fight a major threat , the most powerful mage in azeroth literally died like nothing to this
and muradin relatives are in danger, its not that hard to make a decent conversation between them
Are we forgetting someone???
The Council of THREE Hammers has an additional member who could have looked after Ironforge if the other two wanted to leave for a spell.
The whole reason the council exists is none of the three clans trust the other two not to pull something on their own. Leaving just one of them behind to rule on his own defeats the purpose.
I mean the guy unlock the Mountain thane hero spec all the way back in wrath and was making friends with random earthen because of it. Sad that he has been sidelined.
It is a bit odd that he is the only of the 3 bronzebeard brothers not present in this expansion.
But, he is one of the three hammers, together with Falstaad and Moira, and of the 3 hammers, only Moira is in Kaz Algar, due to the events that led to TWW.
Muradin needs to be kept away from the front lines or he’d handle 90% of the major threats on his own. The thing that differentiates him from his brothers is how much @$$ he kicks after all.
