Did they ever fix Dungeons/Raids/Instances to where you can hear others sounds?

Last time I played there was an issue which basically muted all other players in instanced content. Is it still like this? Really kills the vibe and enjoyment of the game without sound.

Howdy! I wanted to provide some insight into this issue. Specifically, while in instanced content (dungeons, raids, scenarios, etc) the sound effects from other players should be significantly reduced and quieter than your own. It could definitely be that you can not hear the sound effects from other players at all, depending on what is going on in the instance and general sound settings. It was a design decision, so not really a bug to get fixed

Bad design decision, not even an optional toggle. I cannot fathom why they would remove sound effects from other players, totally ruins the experience.
