My crappy laptop could run WoW on low settings well enough to play here and there before the pre-patch… but now I can only get 1fps… did the pre-patch upgrade the graphics or somethin to make my computer be obsolete?

Just as a bump and reminder, not all failures to launch are this error. If your PC meets the system requirements , you are not having the same problem being investigated in this thread. In that case you should do crash troubleshooting - especially graphics driver updates. You can see that troubleshooting here .

After prepatch all my graphics settings was set to the max, and reset other settings too.
