Your opinion is irrelevant in regards to tyhe validity of the canon lore, Kyalin. Until something more concrete regarding the timeline is said by Blizzard, we won´t have anything else to use to retconn it, period.

“Blood of the Highnborne” has Mu´ru ALREADY in Quel´thalas mere 5 years AFTER Arthas decimated the kingdom. And this happens AFTER the Sunwell Trilogy comics, waaay before TBC.

The WoT for example is probably the most stupid and ridiculous plot ever done and executed in this game, but regardless of this, is a CANON event, and we all WILL have to accept it happened, period. Same principle here.

Ariel, for the love of god, either read what you’re replying to or stop acting like I’m not going to call it out when you leave out context.

Personally, I think the idea implied by the notion that the Blood Elves joined the Horde that much earlier in comparison to the Draenei, which also would require Alliance questing in Draenor to take place much later, a little ridiculous and likely evidence of an oversight in the book itself. This would not, however, be an appropriate response to Ariel’s claim because it would just be me asserting that something that very clearly is canon isn’t on the sole basis of “I think this is kind of ridiculous” - and Blizzard has never shied away from doing ridiculous things before.

But since you wouldn’t just take that bolded part and leave it at that, you are aware that this thread inspired another that you commented on, saying this:

Indeed the guy dropped the ball AND created an issue regarding thalassian elf ageing in addition to this contradictory development. When asked in twitter why hadn´t he used the Ghostlands stuff instead to justify Lorash´s “anger”, he apologized over literally forgetting the Ghostland questing.

Can you explain to me how your standard between these two matters is consistent? Do you accept that ridiculous canon is canon, or do you reserve the right to contest it? If the latter, why would you contest that and not this?
