Did the Kobold Dungeon on my Pally Tank

My group didn’t type in english, so I couldn’t ask them for help but the final boss of the Dungeon had me confused as to what the mechanics were.

Basically stay close to the candle, refill it with the smaller candles (mainly the DPS job) and move the candle away from aoe

you need to keep the candle lit, bring candles to it to keep the number up

I think it’s spank and tank while others grab candles. :robot::thought_balloon:

So you have to stand in the light to do any damage or healing.

The candle slowly dwindles so evertually you will run out of light, if that happens the boss will fear the group.

You can stall that by running the little candles on the side of the room to your big candle.

The boss will turn to face the candle to try and put it out, one person pick up the candle with the extra action button and move it out of the beam.

Dont drop shadow circles or let adds reach the big candle they also make it go out faster, repeat til the boss leaves.

I find leaving candle management too 1 person with a decent sprint to be best, a healer preferably since holding the little candles lets your heals keep working while you run it.

Yea don’t confuse the DPS, they already have to look out for umbral slash and shadow blast. Can’t expect them to handle a THIRD task.

Healer. Not tank. Because if the tank is moving then you have no light source and the dps can’t do anything.

Mobile dps are also good to go fetch, DKs are free to just tunnel.

The only thing you really need to know is this, you lose a lot of damage if you are not in the light of a candle. You also lose basically all healing so always have some form of light on you. Some attacks will extinguish the candle so you should make sure they aren’t hitting it.

Other than that, the last boss leaves at half health so it may feel like it is taking forever but it’s about the same timeframe as other bosses.
