Evolution isnt real. Its a lie.

Taurens were created in the minds of WOW devs. :ok_hand: :ok_hand:

Centaurs are the offspring of Princess Tharadras and a son of Cenarius.

we’ll see robot proto yaks pretty soon dw

Id believe it

Niuzao is the progenitor of the tauren. Often the beasty races are descended from some sort of wild god.

Not exactly but maybe cows could evolve into Tauren if given enough Kaja’mite.

Where did you get those names? is that made up?

Its the other way round. Cows evolved from Tauren. That’s why they give more milk and are more efficient. :smiling_imp:

Tengri and Eje are deities from a real life religion.

Are Tauren related to the cows in Diablo?

They likely came from Niuzao himself, the Ox God or whatever. They were oxen-humanoids (Yaungol) first, then eventually evolved into the bull-humanoids (Tauren), and some went north and became snow buffalo-people (Taunka).

Pandaren likely share ancestry with Furbolgs (other bear-people) and thus are likely distant children of Ursoc.

Just like how Worgen are the cursed offspring of Goldrinn, the first were Night Elves. Eventually, spreading said curse beyond and creating cursed-human-worgen hybrids.

Most, if not all of the animal races in WoW, come from giant beast-gods that resemble said animals. They likely saw what the titans were doing, and wanted their own mortals in their own image to cultivate the world to their liking.

Murlocs are rumored to come from a giant fish-frog ancient, and so forth.

Sethrak come from a giant snake loa/god, that we meet the avatar of while in Vol’dun.

Tuskarr and Vulpera are a bit more unknown, but it’s likely the ancient these were created from is possibly dead/extinct, and the races are all we have left to remember them by.

Kind of like the titans, and how they were basically all destroyed- but the humans, dwarves, gnomes etc. still live on in their image.

(And the beast-gods were created by the titan Freya, she just sorta enchanted the beasts already around, so they could defend themselves and Azeroth as this was before mortal races aside from trolls, infused them with titan-power, and they became intelligent beast-gods. So, in a way, the animal races are titan-made too.)
