Not sure you can LOS anymore with the hotfix to the generators. Maybe it’s still possible. While I tend to agree the MC is manageable, not sure why they can’t be cc’d. It would make the fight easier but then at least other classes would be able to use more of their toolkit to mitigate the mechanic. Think it would make the fight more engaging even if easier.
Post logs pls
There is no way he will post logs
This.
Thanks. The nerfs don’t happen until phase 5, when the attunement itself for T6 is removed. Tier 5 is meant to be a major step up and your reward is largely faceroll tier 6 aside from Illidan and the Shaman check that is Archimonde. The rest of both BT and Hyjal are almost not memorable.
Illidian is also faceroll.
He died in under 25 days after BT opened.
All content is going to be much easier than the pre nerf Vashj fight we have.
Guilds struggling with Tidewalker probably gonna have a rough time with Illidan. He won’t be as hard as pre-nerf Vashj but he’s still probably the hardest encounter in BT.
I mean sure of you can’t clear Vashj or are stuck on bosses before Vashj then most of the end game raid bosses might be hard.
If you have already killed Vashj, nothing will be as hard.
Honestly, I think the biggest problem is time - at least for some. TBC as of now seems like it’s about efficiency. If your guild isn’t efficient with time, unless you want to raid an extra day, you won’t get the attempts in.
And I’d say, most guilds are not efficient by any means which is why they’re stuck on 4/2 or some minor variant of.
It’s the way things should be. Nothing wrong with some gatekeeping imo.
I take it you never did Sunwell. Namely eredar twins and M’uru.
You do realize the world first race was public right?
All those bosses folded compared to pre nerf Vashj.
Not sure why people keep bringing up these fights that were clapped in under 20 days back then.
I really really hope they don’t nerf it.
My guild has two groups at 5/6 and 3/4. With one of the groups getting Vashj to 2% at one point, and progressing nicely on KT. With 2 adds up going into phase 4 (Supposedly if you have 1 up going into phase 4 you win). The second group plans to be progressing KT tonight for the first time.
I’m pretty much a staple in both groups doing double duty… and it has been extremely fun progressing. It may be the old raider in me, but I honestly don’t think the content should be nerfed. You should as a player have to get better and beat it.
But I understand not everyone what to play an RPG where you should have to progress your character throughout the tier of an expansion to get to the latest content… That old guard has died off a long time ago I suppose.
So did Sapphiron. That is such a ridiculous metric to measure by. Very few people killed M’uru. Even less killed Kil’jaeden. Far more killed Vash’j, Kael, Illidan, and Archimonde.
Same spot here. We have barely any time each week to even work on Tidewalker/KT. Let alone ever seeing Vashj. We’re too casual apparently at 2days a week 3hours each day.
We are going by that metric because we as players are far better than the people who won world first back in tbc.
Illidian took them 20 days to kill, I promise you Any of the guilds killing Vashj are killing illidian.
The only reason sunwell wasn’t fully cleared instantly even BACK then was because it was gated.
Had all of sunwell released at the same time it would of been cleared in under a month even from the raiders back then.
That feels when you beat the hardest pre-nerfed boss…
She’s a pain, but my guild got her last night and honestly it felt amazing to now be 6/6 in SSC
