Programmatically, its different to use a find and insert (in a database) for those that only match a particular criteria, than to insert into all that match a large group criteria. Horde choppers were given to ALL Horde. It seems here they are trying to micromanage only those accounts who have purchased SL which is entirely different…indexing wise, its oranges and apples and takes significantly more processing power to do. Which is likely why they’re staggering it.

I think why everyone is upset is because in the history of giveaways its never been “Over a few days” since its always as simple as “Apply to all if SL key present” same as the 6 month mounts are. Otherwise its proving to be old code that needs to be replaced if its taking this much trouble to put out a mount.

The issue is the mount was meant to be free as a thankyou from Blizzard. As far as I know it was never originally stated that you had to have purchased Shadowlands to get it making it not so free.

It would had made it less problematic to just give the mount to everyone like originally intended.
