I went to Hallowfall to kill the world boss there, since it had a decent gold reward. As you can see by the linked image, I was awarded the kill, however the Quest marker is still on the map, and I didn’t receive my gold reward.
Do I have to try killing it again?

Sometimes… It will pop when I leave the area or leave the raid.
Other times, I have to try again.
There’s definitely a bug with WB WQ’s, not exclusive to the Hallowfall one either.
Yes, I had some people in the zone saying to move out of the area and it might disappear, but I went to Mereldar and it was still there. And thats outside the raid. So I guess I try a repeat attack.

EDIT: I went away, waited a few minutes then flew back, and got the completion and the gold. Sighs
Unfortunately… Been quite bad this xpac.
A log out/in can also sometimes progress your quest/WQ.
So many bugs, so little workarounds!
