Also, we need the ability to turn our stance bar off. As a rogue, it’s one button. I found a way to add the button on to my regular bars.

But that also circles back to the idea of being able to toggle things on/off.

Sorry that you enjoy getting garbage shoveled into your mouth and think you are eating a Kobe steak.
(which this company has the ability to hire folks who COULD put out a Kobe steak delicious UI and instead… Mmm Garbage. Change is great. This ain’t it.)

I like the new UI a lot. But I agree. Combuctor is the bag addon I use and have for over a decade and it is a million times better than anything Bliz has done. And the fact that there are still elements on the UI that cannot be moved is a fail. I agree that the fact that this far into a game they still haven’t worked on issues that have been bugging people from day 1. But I guess that is why they let people make addons. so they didn’t have to. But I do like the changes. even though they did not go quite far enough.

right…this is a UI change. It WASNT MEANT to replace your addons.
Jesus…this isnt theoretical math 101, folks.
Its a UI upgrade…no one said Bliz was replacing your addons.

yes…WE asked for this.

It is most definitely not a better experience when you have to spend an hour to readjust to just get back to basic ui thst you’ve had in the game since launch.

Pathetic that a couple of dudes doing this for hobby could come up with a superb UI (cough… Elvui) that covers everything and fix everything in a few days time frame while the famous indie company can’t get things rights in years.

Just pay the dude full time and pay him good

If you dont like the base UI use an addon. I use the base ui and a bag addon. I like it more than I liked elvui. This isnt meant to reaplce your addons, if you want more features and control go use an addon.

True, but at least 15 years onwards they’d come up with something more polished than the half baked car crash which is basically Elvui 2.0

Found to paste the data in box…need to be in Window mode. Found this by trial and error.

Each toon has its own settings as well as the data. Config file holds the rest of the settings for all accounts.

I am so sick and tired of having to redo settings every single time I log into the game or switch characters.

Example -

  1. Timers on the action bars gets unchecked every single time I log out of a character.
  2. Chat bubbles get reset every single time I log out of a character.
  3. Chat window size changes on some characters but not others every single time I log out.
  4. Arena frames won’t save in a spot I want them in for one character but will for other characters.
  5. Randomly deleting the entire settings.

The UI feels like it was redesigned by someone who doesn’t really play WoW and tried to mimic SWTOR.

Each account use the config file to start up… Then.
The profile … Edit mode; that you save as.
Then…every toon has its own settings.

So when you say every time is differnt.
You are saving and modifying every time.
