Did Jaina secretly conceive Arthas's child?

If you have read the Rise of the Lich King novel, you will know that Jaina and Arthas had a very very strong relationship and at one point did visit 3rd base.

I’m curious if Jaina ever got pregnant… could that mean that there is a child of Arthas out there somewhere? I say this because Arthas and Jaina didnt speak for quite some time after this event. If blizzard did decided to make this a real thing, how awesome would that be?!

There would be an heir to the throne of Lorederon and that could mean a whole new storyline taking tirisfal back in the name of the Menethil bloodline! This child can grow up learning about everything that happend and what his father became. This child could become a powerful Paladin and reforge what the Silver Hand used to be! He could even rekindle the relationship with the scarlet crusade and unite the north including retaking Gilneas

What are your thoughts on this?

if that were the case then there has to be something to explain why she completely forgot about it, (maybe someone erased her memory)
but the question would be, why?

if you want to keep the menethil bloodline there is calia.
and she indeed had a secret child that we don’t know if is alive or not.

Or she could have kept it a secret, being that she was so ashamed of what happened to Arthas… and maybe didnt want the child ever knowing who he or she truely was.

i don’t think that she is the kind of character who would abandon her own son/daughter and never once feel regret or not mention it.
because if she does know what she had done i would assume that would be one of the memories that would torment her in thros.

like i said, the menethil bloodline is not exactly gone if the child of calia still lives.
or they could be dead already and the menethil bloodline ended with the death of calia already (she is undead)
but i yet fail to see why the menethil bloodline is important.

They didn’t have a child in our timeline, but they did in an alternate one.

In this alternate universe, all that changes is that Thrall died as an infant. Aedelas Blackmoore forms an army, led the Battle of Blackrock Spire, slew Orgrim and enslaved the orcs for his own army, or as servants to humans. Blackmoore then conquered Lordaeron himself, destroyed Capital City, dethroned the House of Menethil by killing Terenas, and finished off Uther and Anduin Lothar while he was at it. He self-proclaimed himself king, appointed Kel’Thuzad as his advisor, and reforged Doomhammer’s plate into armo for himself.

Arthas fled south with his wife, Jaina, and their newborn son, Uther Menethil. Varian took them in and they planned to retake Lordaeron from Blackmoore. No Scourge, no Forsaken.

It’s not… impossible for it to happen, but I just don’t think Jaina would keep a child hidden. She may have hid who the father was, as I would, but I can’t imagine she wouldn’t keep the child and pretend the father was, I dunno, some Lordaeron footsoldier that died at Hyjal or something.

YO! …> YO! … YO!! … YO!!!.. YOOOOOOOOOOO!!! i WOULD DEFINITELY LOVE This man, good Imagination tho this is 1000% gold bro. I really Hope blizzard hears you.

I’m pretty sure it was implying Arthas took her virginity on Halloween, not just 3rd base.

And even if she didn’t conceive his child yet, she could definitely have his seed on ICE for later.

Seems unlikely given that such a child has never been even vaguely alluded to, to my knowledge. If anywhere would have it mention, it would be a torment in Thros or something.

Wow. I dont remember reading about third base.

I know Arthas made it to home plate. But reading about third base would have been a change of pace for WoW books.

Clearly Anduin is that child and Varian and Tiffin claimed him as their own because Tiffin was unable to have children for some reason.

Y’know, I would’ve enjoyed this timeline far more than Draenor. As a Male Human Paladin.

The Menethil bloodline already has an heir…Calia’s daughter. One of the player conspiracy theories floating around is that Taelia is her daughter in addition to being Bolvar’s (the melodrama would be strong with that one…having one lich king as your uncle and then the latest one as your father >_> ) But even if it’s not Taelia (though Calia, Taelia…Taelia’s mother was from Lordaeron, her name is deliberately not mentioned when you’d think if she knew who her father was she’d know the name of her own mother unless it was a huge secret). Besides…they’re pretty blatantly setting up Anduin X Taelia and it would be like Blizzard to have their kid be the heir to both Stormwind and Lordaeron.

i just wanted to add something to your comment, in alpha taelia mentioned that her mother was from lordaeron, but it was then changed and she only mentions “i lost my mother and my father to the plague”
but… i don’t know… sounds like… taelia being reaally especial if she is not only fordragon but also a menethil.
is not impossible, blizzard would do something like that.

I feel like sex-ed failed you. You can’t get pregnant from Third Base.

Well to be fair…what other human nation in the EK would’ve been effected by the plague? Lordaeron. It’s entirely possible they saw the rumor mills circulating already and took the blatant Lordaeron name drop out to make it more of a ‘surprise’ if they do reveal Calia as her mother.

Taelia says her father was a Stormwind Knight.
Calia says her husband was a Lordaeron footman.

Plus, Calia lost her husband in the Blighting of Southshore, which happens in Cataclysm. Bolvar was the Regent Lord of Stormwind from at least Vanilla onward and died in Wrath.

No, no she did not.

Even if not Taelia…it doesn’t change the fact that Calia’s daughter is the Menethil/Lordaeron heir, and unless Blizzard explicitly says she was killed during or after their separation at Southshore, we can presume she’s alive regardless of the ‘pedigree’ of her father.

You can if you’re doing it right. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
