Did I screw up?

iPhone 12 is 2 and a half years old, so I’d say you’ve had it for more than a month. Plus, apple repairs have a 90 day warranty on the repair, so unless the battery issue is caused by some form of user error, it’d be a free replacement if it failed again that quickly

keep the 14 clean… you can always trade up to the 15 for a bit

Doubful, replacing the battery in an iPhone is annoying as you usually have to send it back to Apple, as they like to make phones that are a pain to fix if you aren’t Apple. If a battery in any is dying. Easiest to just replace the phone outright.

At that point, you’re better off replacing the phone completely if you have to send it in for repair all the time

I’m saying that the battery life issues that OP was experiencing is probably the result of some form of user error/damage, so it shouldn’t have to go back to the shop that often unless OP breaks it again.

Not my experience but okay. Usually takes about an hour at an Apple Store.

I didn’t do anything to my phone, if I did, then I wouldn’t have been able to trade it in lol. You do realize, Iphone’s batteries deplete over time correct? There’s nothing you can really do to prevent that.

Yes, but I have an 11 that still lasts a day and a half on 1 charge and has never been in for a battery replacement.

All phone batteries die over time. but yeah, nothing really can be done

All rechargeable batteries deplete over time, but the timeframe in the OP is off for that being the actual explanation for what’s happening.

Yes, but how often are you on your phone? I’m on my phone quite often only using social media apps. Besides, I never replaced my battery I just traded my 12 in for the 14, if it was user error Apple would’ve not let me traded my phone in.

I had my apple watch series 3 battery come out just randomly I had to take it in back to Apple, I think at the time, I had to quite literally ship it to the actual apple store took awhile but I don’t think they were able to repair it. (that was many years ago though) Not to mention, what do you think I am doing on my phone to “break” it? I never broke it, not a single scratch no jail breaking, nothing at all. Besides, I’m pretty sure I got it in 2021

I heard the newest iPhone still can’t play Minesweeper.

Pss… for you see your blue post and you see popular, what a dude?

For that the best option will always be a Red Magic 8.
