There were a few classes/specs I was interested in playing this expansion, but hero talents were either lackluster for them, or the best choice was not a hero talent tree I was excited to play at all. So I played different classes and specs where their recommended hero talent choice was a lot more interesting to me.
Did hero talents effect your class choice this expansion at all?
Nope. I always level my warlock. As time goes on I’m drawn to the more solo oriented classes. Warlock, paladin, DK, warrior (yea this one is just fun though), druid. Not a fan of the squishy classes.
No, I picked Druid because of its immense versatility (tank, healer, melee and ranged damage) so I was nearly guaranteed at least one specialization would be good. Though I do enjoy Druid of the Claw for Guardian and Feral and Keeper of the Grove for Restoration.
No the meta enhancement shaman pick is actually pretty fun now that im used to it. Im very die hard for the spec so itd take a lot to get me to swap anyway.
Yeah. I played mostly Vengeance Demon Hunter as a main in Dragonflight Season 3 and 4 and wanted to switch it up and play a healer for Season 1 of TWW. I liked what I was seeing for Totemic Resto shaman and I’ve been happy with it so far. I feel like it really suits the class fantasy to drop big totems with powerful effects.
A little bit. I think this is the first expansion since MOP where I just don’t feel like playing Shaman anymore and it’s partly due to just how… meh… the Hero Talents look on paper. I’ve only just started TWW, so I don’t know how any of the Hero Specs feel. Might change my mind after leveling a few more classes, but we’ll see if I can even stick with WoW long enough after the Anniversary event to care.
