Did Hati get removed from the game?

I can’t get Hati to come up anymore. Was he removed from the game?

Unfortunately, yes. He’s tied to the Beast Master Artifact weapon, and will no longer appear. There is a talent that lets you have 2 pets (the other is your first stabled pet) out.

when the BM artifact burned out, it dissipated the excess energy Hati was holding, releasing him from the bond, and he went home to Thorim.

That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

yes, its gone. Take Animal Companion on your first talent row for a second pet.

Few (or none) of the devs play hunter so they didn’t think hunters would care if they removed Hati from the game. That’s one theory. :smirk:

Sadly Hati is gone. I miss him, he was a beautiful wolf with many unique appearances. I hope Blizzard brings Hati back as a tameable wolf. Maybe they could add a whole quest where you reunite yourself with him, though knowing Blizzard this probably wouldn’t ever happen :confused:

My BM Hunter honestly doesn’t care. The functionality is the same as “Hati.” I move whatever pet I want to be “Hati”, into that first stable slot. Sometimes I totally forget that it isn’t the same “Hati.”

I just want us to have the ability to tame Hati’s model. Who knows, maybe that’s how we get Hati back. Remember, Blizz’s been hinting at it for a while, and with the Xal’atath scenario coming in 8.1, maybe we’ll see Hati, Aluneth, and other “sentient” artifacts return in some form.

I hated artifact weapons. But Id gladly take back having ONE artifact weapon over what we have now.
Out of the flippin frying pan into the fire.
Couldnt wait to be rid of those abominable artifacts only to have them replaced with worse.

Half the fun of these ADVENTURE type games is to FIND NEW CRAP.
They just ripped the fun right out of that with azerite gear.
may as well just give us eternal Heirlooms and leave it at that.

While ago during one of those Q/A I read where they said Hati was going to return sometime in BFA and if you think about it those wolves in Zuldazar called Avatar of Xolotal used to have the dark blue Hati model but now use the dark blue Gara model.

I am still hoping we get our lovable yet annoying storm mutt back animal companion is way worse.

Yup gone with the artifact weapon. But good news, Crawgs are tameable next patch :slight_smile:
