Doesn’t ele get Ascendance plus Ascendance proc though?

No you don’t. Ele has good damage and is top 4 shuffle dps for sure, but it cant spam back to back 2 mil earth shocks because that ramps off flame shock damage.

Fire mage can’t global combust anyone anymore but ele can

That was my full geared toon too. Feared into 1 shot lol
This was like 20 mins ago. Is that a bug? Seems like just normal ele things to me

The bug is flame shock applying to the same target 6 times, which is what they meant to fix, it means they get a heap of maelstrom instantly and a large amount of extra damage from a buff they get after flame shocking.
Basically what should take 3 casts + 12 seconds is now instant.

Thats how i feel like he just looked at in a fear and I died instantly like uh i guess i trinket and throw every button and kitchen sink
outplayed by a more intelligent, more mechanically skilled, more well read, and ultimately superior gamer

Def is possible if the high end earth shock is flirting with 3 mil crits on a target that’s just not reacting.
Magma chamber is 15% which is a lot but ele gets 15% from totem of wrath, 10% from lightning ele, 10% from ele equilibrium, trinket/enchant and the scaling on earth shock is massive.
Just unlikely if you’ve invested into haste
