The only hoax was our grade school teachers telling us oil came from dino bones and the we would run out. Oil comes from algae mainly and is still being produced from algae today.

The indoctrination starts early and runs strong… a few others off the top of my head is obviously the globe earth model (the center is made of a molten core? proved by who - that picture was always hilarious to see!), vaccines (not really taught in school but these don’t do anyone any good), lastly nukes do not exist

To people like you there is never enough or credible proof until you or one of your loved ones ends up very ill or dead due to a preventable disease.
We base their sounds off of how they would have looked like and how animals related to them sound like today.

Neither, imagine a songbird chirp but the depth of the waves are massively extended. It would sound like a thrumming from most larger dinosaurs, like a really large tuning fork.
