I am playing from Bangkok Thailand on an optic fiber connection.
I play on Tichondrius (US-west) server.
I used to have 190ms with very little variance.
I stopped playing for a few months, came back and now, ping is 260ms.
I tried using VPN, connecting to various locations like Singapore/Japan/Taiwan to see if it was the packet route that changed.
I don’t have a traceroute from when I used to have 190ms so I can’t compare to a current traceroute.
Has anything changed on Blizzard’s end?
