Did anyone else notice how Blizzard just took Night Elves from the Alliance and gave them to the Horde?

Except that all of the Horde elements that wanted the Night Elves annihilated have been removed.

They literally have nothing left but the peacemakers. Who’s left to object? Baine?

Friendly reminder that Night Elves just had one of the most epic win moments in BFA with Tyrande but there are still Nelf posters who will try to come to the forums to make moot points.

This puts it at best questionable considering this mission is just taking out a commander, not recapturing the city.

it’s also noted the Sentinels were putting plenty of pressure on Ashenvale as a whole, not just Astranaar.

I mean, the entire War of Thorns was Horde pillaging Ashenvale Forest, driving up to Darkshore and then burning the last refuge of Night Elf civilization.

Hell, Ion flat out acknowledged the Horde “genocided” the Night Elves.

It’s pretty clear cut that they wanted Sylvanas to look so bad, they were willing to basically say an entire Alliance race was wiped off the map… and then realized: “Well crap, Alliance players didn’t much like that” and have since been rolling it back a bit.

I’m a goofy looking nelf with no shadowmeld.

pats there there…

Well but the Horde was still on board with the extermination of the Night Elves, nobody said anything after 8.0, they all still fought for Sylvanas’ goals.

When? I must have missed that, surely you aren’t talking about giving Nathanos a free ticket to the maw

Total BS. Night elf zones was one of the reasons that I started to play wow back in 2004 as a kid. Kinda sucks we can never go back.

Soldiers follow orders, especially during war time. When you genocide an entire race, you’ve also just put the entire Horde at risk of a similar reprisal - they would have almost no choice BUT to stick to it, for their own sakes.

The fact is that the Horde is ashamed of Sylvanas, and only her most hardcore loyalists haven’t abandoned her.

uh Alliance got Blood elves from the horde in the form of Void elves try a better job at trolling

Nightborne are not Night elves and are noticeably different.

And if anyone dares try to ues this example for Nightborne to spiteful obtain Nelf customizations I will continue to uphold this.

Don’t involve my NB and Night elves into this cringe thalassian elf drama the community has been pushing. It’s disgusting.

When did she get glorified? People were ticked off, including horde…

You can literally talk to the Zidormi NPC in Darkshore and she changes it back to before it was destroyed so saying you can never go back isn’t really true.

The table missions were available at launch and, therefore, occur before pretty much everything that happens during BfA.

You know, before the Alliance took Darkshore back.

Ummm excuse me?

Waitttt, so I can go use the AH at darnassus

Funny. I don’t feel hordey

Lol, yeah if you talk to the NPC and change it back to before it’s the same as before the war.

Tbh, there is no reason why the night elves should still be in Stormwind.

Night elves can better adapt in the wilds than in human cities.

Likewise, the Undead can adapt better in a blight infested place than in Orgrimmar.

Also, the Nightborne belong in Suramar because that is their home, not an orc city like Orgrimmar.

Etc, etc, etc. Get the picture?

Hyjall, desolace, winterspring, felwood, moonglade, greenwardens grove (eastern kingdoms) all of which have considerable nelf populations, and thats just off the top of my head… in fact i’d argue that between desolace, hyjall and moonglade alone the majority of the nelf population probably doesn’t actually live in darnasus.

just like how irl the capital of a country might have a large concentration of population, but its rarely the majority of the population when compared to the innumerable outlying settlements.
