Why did you nerf us to the ground? We die every 2 seconds, pets can’t hold aggro, we hit wet noodles. Fix us please.

I think the pets not holding aggro thing is universal, as a lock, my felguard only aggros like half the time.
They just screwed something up with the pets I think.

No No. It’s we. If you played before the nerf and after there is a clear difference. Pulling 2-3 trash mobs and the pets drop FAST. Funny how this wasn’t the issue before the ‘fix’. Not to mention the significant loss in damage. No need to pretend there isn’t an obvious difference.

I’m playing a survival alt, but I definitely noticed the pets are dropping fast on certain higher level mobs faster than before. And I mean 1-2 shoting them. I haven’t checked on my bm hunter yet.

The real endgame hasn’t even started yet. Light have mercy, and never would I thought I’d see the day a BM is no longer the Hunter representation.

I gave up and went survival. doing 3x the damage now.
Read the patch notes that just came out.

Vicious Hunt damage increased by 10% for Beast Mastery.
Vicious Hunt damage decreased by 10% for Survival.
Developers’ notes: When Vicious Hunt’s damage reaches a certain point, it can cause Kill Command to dominate Survival’s rotation. This adjustment and subsequent compensation are meant to ensure Pack Leader Survival Hunters are utilizing the other tools at their disposal.
Howl of the Pack critical strike damage bonus increased to 5% for Beast Mastery (was 3%).
Howl of the Pack critical strike damage bonus increased to 11% for Survival (was 7%).
Furious Assault damage bonus increased to 60% for Survival (was 30%).
Cull the Herd damage over time increased to 60% for Survival (was 30%).

Survival outshining BM? That’s a world-first record. Mark the date for 8/29/2024, to give it a day prior to announcement.
Remember when Legion launched 8/29/2016? That’s an exact 8 years. Talk about completing an actual 8-year journey where BM actually gets eclipsed by SV, and MM too.
dont get me wrong if they fix BM I am a BM hunter at heart.

Where were you in patch 9.2? Cause Survival was above MM/BM, and was one of highest performing dps specs in the entire expansion. Survival has more than just the one example of out shining BM.

You got me there. How about the RAW BEGINNING of an expansion instead? I probably should have went for that category. I’ll take the L for that.
So 9.2 and 9.2.5., a time of wokeness…a time when there wasn’t just going to be many people playing because of said wokeness. Some of it honoring, otherwise something else altogether. Mad Bombardier wasn’t going to be allowed once it was over for 10.0 however.
We’re talking about MOST of the year 2022. If that’s the ONLY REASON SV was allowed to eclipse BM, we can agree that it was not a normal circumstance. Because a LOT of players were not going to get on WoW. I have RL friends that did the same, because of Flamestrike the Crawler.
MM Hunters are the usual high tier-list at beginning of a new expansion. BM is close to the bottom of expansion, and if it is than the designers start hacking away at it until it is. Then spend the next few months having to buff it back up cause they over did it.
Survival Hunters jump from being middle then suddenly on bottom, finally back just in-between again. Blizzard forgot Survival until Shadowlands and than starting to give it some reason to be played. They gave it life in Legion than went out for cigarettes and never returned. Until the got the child support fees came in and ran back.
