Those who know, probably already understand this ‘set’ of the weapon+trinket is essentially BIS for all casters and healers going into to the new tier, with very few exceptions.

This would be fine, except for the extra conditional on the trinket where it activates even more when your mana is below a threshold. It used to be 50%, now its 25%.

I can see the nod towards it being weighted for use by healers, but as it stands, this trinket is going to lead to an extremely toxic form of gameplay where caster dps essentially OOM themselves prior to every pull and stay under the mana threshold for as long as they can. It doesn’t even matter if the gain is minor, a gain is a gain.

And honestly, even if it is for healers, how often are they keeping themselves below 25% mana? Maybe in the last minute or so of a prog boss. I’m entirely confused as to what this conditional is even supposed to reward or be used for.

At this point, I think the only options are either to reverse the conditional so it activates above 50% mana, change it to trigger an activation bonus when casting on a target below a certain health %, or honestly just remove the conditional entirely.

Arcane mages can simply surge and lose all their mana, hold on Evocation and activate it. Is that effective? Probably not but was a thought.

I have been playing as a healer which is new to me and I would say this will benefit them the most especially if they pug because you never know if the tank will stop for you to drink. Most will just say they’re OOM in my experience as tank if I’m not paying attention for some reason or meld/drink, or stand back and drink.

My point being it was clearly OP at 50 and very manageable, but at 25 it becomes less manageable and more like a pull-to-pull item. It seems fine.
