Since last week reset some of the dialogue of the npc’s are being skipped . It’s quite jarring when turning in or accepting a quest when the npc’s written and spoken dialogue are omitted. I have reset my user interface and disabled addons and this is still occurring. Anyone else have this issue? Thanks for any advice or help on the matter.

I just arrived to report the same thing. I’m doing the BFA quests “Tol Dagor: The Fourth Key” and “The Mysterious Island,” and most of Flynn, Taelia and Katherine’s dialogue was completely omitted. Only these lines came through:
Tol Dagor: The Fourth Key
Flynn: Ah, there’s the brave hero! See, I told you [name] would be just fine, Taelia. She’s such a worrier.
Taelia: Hang on! I’m not the one who… [sigh].
Taelia: We’re both glad you’re back safely, [name].
…
Taelia: That’s usually a good sign. What’s inside?
…
Flynn: No wonder Ashvane couldn’t get her people to go. That place is terrifying!
The Mysterious Island
Flynn: Fate’s End… Not how I’d choose to go out, that’s for sure.
Flynn: [name], please extend my sincere condolences to Lady Katherine.
Taelia: Don’t say that, Flynn. We have to hold out hope that Lady Jaina could still be alive!
Flynn: The island is called Fate’s End, Taelia. Not Fate’s Hope.
Taelia: Well, if anyone can bring her back from that awful place, I’d bet on [name].
Flynn: Placing wagers now, are we? For shame! Whatever would Cyrus say?
Taelia: Flynn, you know what I mean. For Lady Katherine’s sake, I pray you’re wrong.
Flynn: Yeah. Me too.
Katherine: [name]! What have you found?
Katherine: Where was Jaina taken?
Katherine: Tell me I am not too late.
…
Katherine: She was, after all, acting on my orders.
Even though they didn’t deliver all the lines, the characters stood still and silent for the same amount of time it would have taken to deliver them, which at first made it appear like the characters had stopped functioning completely.
