Diabolist issue

So far, I’m loving the talent tree. Makes me feel like I’m an even more powerful demonology warlock commanding an army of demons. I think the only gripe I have about this spec is whenever the overlord is summoned, it seems like he charges at the bigger adds and just…stands there. Anybody else having this issue?

Wait till mythic+ or in pvp when people outrange its charge and the asinine 1 sec cast he does to hit the ground lol. If you keep moving it will cancel his animation and hell try charging over and over till he cancels himself out.

My biggest gripe is the Pit Lord torso bug, either give us the portal or just spawn an actual pitlord.

Lol I swear they have no intent on fixing that.

It was hilarious when I started seeing some messed up graphic demon just half floating in the air like some sort of graphic glitch.

No way something visual being a main feature of the expansion should have released like that.

There’s a few bugs with Diabolist. I’ll add that sometimes the demons target random close mobs or critters that aren’t in combat. I get that the whole team is busy because of launch and getting the new season ready, but again just a post saying we see all the feedback and are working on fixes/updates would go a long way.

Ditto. I’ve seen them attack a mob I’m not even in combat with.

Couldn’t agree more, also doesn’t the Pit Lord looks graphically less detailed than a normal pit lord model? Or is it just me.

What happened to the cool leap attack, why did they replace it with this garbage? If a tank is dragging mobs, he will not deal damage before despawning. This will be a problem in PvP I’d imagine.

I mean it’s already bad enough that is missing half of its graphic model.

I found a way around that. I have /petattack macro’d into shadowbolt.

That fel lord that comes out shouldn’t have a cast time on his cleave, it should be a charge into an instant strike. As soon as he gets to target it should do the strike.

Not charge a target stop to cast the ability for like 1 sec or so and then cast it. I don’t even understand why a melee pet has a cleave cast time on a charge ability.

Yeah I’ve noticed this as well, even with a /petattack macro on my main ability. They really need to make him just charge in and swing. A wind up doesn’t make any sense with the way the ability works. Either make him charge in and swing with no cast time, or make him stick around until he swings.

This is a bug? I thought they intended him to look like that. Half summoned in as to not clutter with his large model.

Think it’s just you. I think he looks clean.

Pet attack will not cancel out his casting of the cleave. I’m not even sure why someone mentioned that as if you clear it up.

That cast time is the issue. If you get a tank in mythic plus gathering up mobs this hero ability functions will be a nightmare, not to mention in pvp in aggravating enough where it’s better off playing soul harvester.

Until they fix that visual for Pitblord and that cast time for overlord, I’m all set with Diabolist. Granted sure awesome fantasy but this isn’t the way to be releasing new product to your paying customer base.

And sure soul harvester has its own bugs but much better to deal with.

Still not quite sure how this is acceptable to be releasing like this. It took me a few mins playing in the world to notice that weird charge for overlord and then it reminded me of the dogs jumping at targets where it misses rare but it happens and does no damage.

So far if I anticipate the summon coming, I have been spamming pet attack and it seems to make it behave

What’s the range on that thing AOE aura. Because there’s some weirdness with it currently.

Funny because people complain on beta that the leap was causing issues with on target hitting or something of that sort but apparently it’s just the coding being the animations.

It should hit regardless, it’s a tab and target so no idea on a game like this how this ability misses. Sure in a 1st person view game it makes sense or an action game but here to me it’s a head scratcher.

This bug still exists and considering just about every boss in the raid has a large model, I can imagine overlord not activating for the whole tier if he’s not fixed. Making him explode or something on expiration if he didn’t get his attack in might be an easy band-aid to this
