This should be tied to collectors edition only
It looks really ugly and something out of a horror movie

Who told you I would get it just for the mount? I would play it like how I played Diablo 3 and Diablo 2: Resurrected. I would just do 4x M+ per week for the Vault while play Diablo 4 for the rest of my play time.
It would certainly match my Mawsworn outfit. Add a Mawsworn Hound Pet or any Undead pet, and voila… a cool looking badazz Hunter.

To each their own but I’m pretty apprehensive about D4. A lot of what they’ve show looks really awesome… but I very much don’t like that they’re apparently killing off single-player.

It really turned me off from thinking about the collector’s edition. I am sure a lot of people will like it but it is one mount that I am glad to skip.
Probably won’t play Diablo IV anyway since it appears to force multiplayer and PVP.
Doesn’t it have a single player mode like previous Diablo games?

From everything I’ve seen, it looks like they’re turning it into a MMO. There’s an open world shared with random players, including world bosses that are designed around being swarmed by a bunch of players, and instanced dungeons that are restricted to you and your group.
Well, I really WAS looking forward to buying it, now I reckon I won’t. ActiBlizz just doesn’t seem to learn from their mistakes, do they?

I mean, I could be wrong (it’s not out yet for public testing, after all) but the only thing I’ve seen that even vaguely implies there’s single player is part of one line in the context of their social systems. I’d love to take it to mean I’m just horribly misunderstanding it but most likely what they mean is “other players are there but you aren’t technically required to group with them.”
Teaming up with other heroes to rid Sanctuary of bloodthirsty demons or going head-to-head against them in combat has long been a staple of the Diablo experience. Diablo IV will continue this tradition by offering both fulfilling PvE and PvP experiences. Providing players with the option to pursue Lilith on their own or with the aid of others is just another way players have additional agency when playing Diablo IV.
