HUGE D2 and D3 fan, though I haven’t played in over a year… Does Immortal satisfy any Diablo fans or is it just a cash cow?
I would just play diablo II IMO if you are a huge d2 fan

I just play D3 over again if I need a fix. Personally I wouldn’t support such a p2w game like Immortal

I actually really enjoyed D:I. The combat was enjoyable with the phone controls and I found the MMO elements enjoyable. Also, I thought the legendary gear system was amazing.
But the downside is that there is definitely a progress wall that F2P players will hit.
I would say this is one of the biggest problems, especially for new players. I’m not sure why they didn’t invest in cross-server group finder at launch.
Lol no its pretty trash like halfway through i just started focusing on main story trying to finish it and eventually just gave up and uninstalled
The story is pretty decent and you can play through it pretty easily its the endgame that they milk you for every last nickle and dime you have for every step you take afterward
I have some RL friends who played it (one still is). They said it is fine if you aren’t really interested in being competitive. If you want to chase the leader boards or not get smoked in PvP, you need to be a cash shop warrior. Personally I will just hold out and play D3 a bit each new season and wait for D4.

If I was a millionaire, I would definitely play it. But I’m poor and farming gold to buy tokens from Diablo Immortal players probably…lol
