So, I’m not super up on DH damage output and the like, but I was going to level one through shadowlands as an enchanting alt, and wanted to go and make some starter gear on my other characters. When I took a look at my blacksmithing I noticed I could make a warglaive, which sounded great… until I noticed the weapon speed at 3.6 instead of the usual 2.6 for 1h weapons. I just wanted to see if I could get someone more knowledgeable to chime in and tell me if the Ceremonious Warglaive is worth it to craft and use, and if so do I make 1 or 2? Basically asking if auto-attacks are a big part of your damage or not.
Not really, most of our damage comes from eye beam, chaos strike, and whatever covenant you have (mainly kyrian).
Well I don’t recommend you roll with demon blades if you’re using 3.6 speed weapons, but beyond that no it shouldn’t be a big deal if you don’t really plan on doing much content
