Please give dh a third spec that is range to lob fel bolts. Maybe even have a demon pet.
All will be forgiven for keeping havoc garbage.

My DH pumps man, I don’t get all the DH crying, It isnt the best but it isnt the worst its just kinda mid pack and technically DH is a hybrid class so it shouldnt be outperforming pure dps classes and it competes with other hybrids.
I think Havoc is completely fine and I’ll post on my DH main which I never do…
Bc I’m just that confident.
I am fine with it being low/middle of the pack in pve. I hate that it is near unviable in arena 3s.
But back to topic, there are so much melee that another range would help.

How about instead of summoning demo locks’ demons we summon different ones? Like Mannoroth?
I’d prefer to just summon my own warlock who summons demons for me. Like… let us summon Gul’dan and he can summon for us.

A short/mid-range, 3rd spec alternative that revolved around throwing glaives would be more interesting.

Agreed. Remove both DH specs from the game. It should be an RP-only class.
The elusive “tuck tail” demon would be used 90% of the time and become meta.
I would prefer a ranged spec that throws glaves.
It would add another much needed ranged spec to the game and make it possible to have dh likely to always have a reasonably fun damage spec.
No one complains that easy to play hunters are always good because what’s good swaps between the specs every xpac.
Everyone hates dh because it’s either op or not and never changes at all.
Honestly Havoc is one of the worst melee DPS specs I’ve played in a long time. Clunky, boring, and surprisingly tame with a lack of flashiness. Vengeance is actually way better conceptually, but it’s a tank spec.
I can see why DHs want a third spec.
