I’ll cut to the chase… DH’s are serious trash in Solo Shuffle.
I can’t carry a game to save my life. My second lobby after winning my first 6 and 0, I get Frost Mage, Survival Hunter, BM Hunter… Obviousl I lost all 6 rounds.
DH’s have zero mobility when there are constant roots and snares without any real way to deal with it.
Our CC is okay and honestly thats how I can pull out a win is to cc the healer into the ground and hope my team has a brain to follow through on the opening I create.
Half the time though I just can’t carry the games because all I can do is damage, but I have less utility and less survivability than almost every other class.
DH’s need HUGE damage buffs to their Kit, or They need better survivability.
You can’t have a class that has almost no defensives, but also has less burst damage than anyone else, while also being one of the most susceptible to snares and roots.
I can see now why I never see another DH in PvP.

this has always been the case. People already think Havoc is super mobile and unstoppable. adding some sort of answer would make the community lose their marbles even more whenever Havoc is remotely good or even just decent.
damage is still to low. we need our “normal damage” bumped by a big margin in order to ever make a difference again or just be a threat. But this will not happen until the 2 massive modifiers from inertia and essence break are heavily nerfed or just outright removed.
traditionally our high damage was our utility to pressure teams to play defensively and be self sufficient enough to not have to be babied so we could be a nuisance. But with our leech unjustifiably being gutted from Legion till now and needs increased once again ontop soul fragment healing. We are just way to delicate to be a threat anymore.

also increase our in and out of meta chaos strike/blade dance damage drastically so we no longer only do damage during essence break/inertia windows but meta windows as a whole with better output from normal damage when not in meta. this whole damage window stacking nonsense has to go for pve and pvp.
as for the weakness to roots and snares, good luck. This is always been our downfall. making VR break roots aswell as snares with a few second immunity on landing would be ideal but the collective pvp community would probably have a bigger meltdown than they did when we were decent in seasons past.

I just find the games you lose where your teammates can’t survive until your second meta to be absolute torture.

I am always using a fire inside + cleansed by flame for the chance of a root break. It’s pretty good at it, but sad that with the increase in all the micro roots they made cleansed by the flame worse.
it also doesn’t remove all roots (physical ones) and is highly rng if you have charges. Also could be a potential damage loss if your running the immo aura buff talents.
What we need is for nether to make us cc immune, or let us attack, paly has bubble which is the same thing but they are cc immune and can attack, and mages and hunters cant be ccd in block or turtle,
Then a buff to blur and dark, as both are discount cds, blurr is a worse evasion, and darkness is a worse dome, imo darkness should work like a massive smokebomb/invis
They originaly made dhs biggest weakness roots, but we had the most mobility, but now EVERY class has dh mobility and root removal but dh is still suffering.
Our damange is literally eye beam and death sweep when demon surge, or eye beam and soulrend when reaver,
Our damage is okay, as i ushally top damnage in every lobby almost in shuffle , but we need damange that matters, as we mostly aoe pad with eye beam, aura and death sweep
I would really like to see the removal of the mastery talent and see about possbly getting a talent that doubles all our defensives, and gives us 2 charges of blade dance, and eye beam, and a move back to haste

I’m sorry… with all do respect I’m really glad you’re not in charge of balancing this class some of these are just terrible ideas, others would be completely busted like giving us a divine shield. Look we don’t need anything ridiculous imo, a root remove, more dr on blurr, netherwalk off GCD and immune to snares/roots, possible rework on darkness, perhaps make desperate instincts talent reworked to let us blurr in a stun so it’s an actual good choice vs netherwalk… just some ideas lol

I vote for two stacks of blur. Or maybe a blur reset with meta.
I’d like that too but… that would be nasty and probably op it works for evokers but… idk lol
