I think it’s just time for an overhaul. I love the mobility and movement speed, but man these setup globals are horrendous. And the percent dodge chance on defensives…gross

This is this part where DH mains are forged in the fire.

Play through it brothers, so you can be snarky the next time its overbuffed and say “Im not a FOTM reroller, I play it when its bad too xd”

and of all the classes that got “reworks” in DF, ours was indisputably the smallest. It’s not even a contest. When the dev that was working on both the rogue and dh “reworks” came in and said things along the lines of “i want to temper expectations because rework implies paladin level stuff” and “the dh changes will be about a third of the rogue changes” it’s pretty obvious that it was never meant to be anywhere near the scale of what pallies, mages, or even rogues got in dragonflight. Every single one of those other class dragonflight reworks was larger than the entirety of our dragonflight rework, beta changes, and 11.0.5 changes combined*. Our “rework” was a bandaid fix for some of the bigger issues to hold us over until the expansion, and i wouldnt be shocked if then someone high up probably forgot about that detail and told the devs to put us on the back burner since we “just got a rework.”

*for any one specific spec, obviously any class with 3 specs should be a bigger rework numerically for the whole class but i was more referring to individual reworked dps specs within each class. Also if you include every aldrachi reaver change throughout beta, including the ones that just shuffled the talents around without actually functionally changing how the tree works at max level at all, then it might work out that havoc ties with one of the less changed dps specs. The problem is even the functional changes fail to salvage the tree because of how flawed the basis is.

Tell me about it… not to mention we got literally NOTHING all beta and have been ignored since lol. I just don’t understand, even enhance is getting reworks! Why have we seen literally nothing? Just more 10% dps buffs… yawn! Not the actual issue lol.

No please, no more damage buffs… it’s just a bandaid fix, we need QoL and to lessen our weird micro damage windows, we need consistent pressure, better defensives, and a way to remove roots, also I’m tired of our defensives outside netherwalk being RNG…

Snares are not the same thing as roots. Snares are slows like hamstring, roots completely lock you in one spot like entangling roots. We have a snare break (vengeful retreat), but we do not have a root break.

No unfortunately, I wish. But yeah we got a 50% dodge or a 50% chance to absorb every 5mins of darkness… literally both our defensives are RNG basically and I hate it lol and the wall is a joke, 20% :joy:

i could have sworn there was a pvp talent that removes negatives effects from the DH-- or did they remove it for TWW?

Glimpse is a pvp talent that causes vengeful retreat to provide immunity to loss of control effects (and gives DR) until you land, but if you are already rooted and try pressing vengeful retreat it won’t break the root. It’s to stop people from stopping you mid-retreat, not to break out of people’s stops.

you might be thinking of “Cleansed by Flame” which removed magic debuffs when immolation aura was cast, so a root marked as a magic debuff could be cleared if you had immo aura ready to press, but in tww they nerfed it to dispel just one magic debuff instead of all. There’s also the 1 minute cooldown pvp talent “reverse magic” which is still in, but again that would only work on roots that are magic dispels.

Why would it matter if you can’t kill anything?

Its a complete meme to get outdamaged by every single other dps WHILE you are cleaving pets and other targets with aoe.

Blade dance should hit much, much harder and so should The Hunt.

An essence break blade dance combo should hit at least 1.5+ million dmg. It should feel impactful.

Essence break should also get CDR from spending fury.

And a chaotic imprint return

Blur can easily be brought to a 45s CD or get to 25/30% reduction
