There are specs like arms warrior with self-healing, parry, permanent dmg reduction, spell reflect, victory rush should shyt hit the fan, ignore pain, and abilities like intervene to help the team as a whole.
If we compare gap closers, for example 2x charge, heroic leap, arms warrior feel like a tankier version of demon hunter with longer cd for gap closers -_-
Darkness seems like a poorly thought out defensive where I need to remain stationary with a chance not to get hit. Netherwalk is crap, I can’t push my buttons while the ability is in effect. Lets look at blur, its nothing compared to ignore pain…
I could take some hit in the dmg department so I wont die just by someone sneezing in my direction.
May I know the source of where you get the statistics from? I mean, those in the top could literally make any specs work but here we are talking about balancing for the average players.
Dh is the hardest to kill melee in the game besides rogue. maybe stop wasting blur and glimpse and darkness and netherwalk on air or stop waiting until 5% hp to press it and u will stop dying in 30 seconds
Sorry, but making a post saying they need to buff a spec that the forums doesn’t like (and frankly DH is doing insanely well right now so they don’t need it) this is the responses you should expect. There is basically a 0% chance that this will lead to an actual discussion.
I’ll do my best to not resort to profanity but heck no! The damage and cc capability that DH has is a full package! Just tonight, my son and I pushed his DH to 1800 and he’s in half greens and I’m a lowly old-as-dirt washed up OG disc priest. In greens, he was wiping everyones butts in their blood while spitting on their faces. Funny thing is that we faced DH, then another DH, then another DH. Even in greens, our MMR was 2050. We’re good players but not that good. Heck, i’m honestly a bad healer and he wasn’t even geared. You’ve gotta be crazy!!
Strange argument: DH are OP because a DH in green gear can beat geared DH.
DH is very strong in damage. They have some reliable defensives and mobility is part of that. Blur and darkness are RNG defensive that are great when they work and totally suck when they don’t.
Blur is flat damage reduction. The only rng part is the dodge which has been set at like 80% in PvP for 3 years now so not much rng there really. If you can’t land auto hit stuns on them like cheap it’s extremely unlikely they die while it’s up.
Darkness is a skill check. Good DH’s will dark high when they see a go coming. Bad ones will dark at 10% and die. Personally I think darkness should go back to 70% as 50% is too rng I agree but hard to justify that given their current power. It’s still a decent cd if used well.
LOL, the real point is that leveling a DH to 2400 is ez mode. It’s the exact same reason that more than 50% of all DH’s are above 1800. No other class comes close to that other than DK. I’ll add that it is absolutely disgusting, given the blatent stats, that DH hasn’t been adjusted at this point. Hope that’s why everyone got fired. Time to get a new DH Product Manager in place.
