DH for solo pve and farming old raid for xmog

I’m looking for a new challenge. I have a main Paly and would like to try a new class.
I was wondering if DH is a good class for solo PVE.

I would like to be able to farm old raid also for the transmog and was wondering if DH can do that.

Yes, it does well at that.

DH isn’t just a good class to do that on, it’s maybe the best class for what you want to do. Both specs are plenty capable of farming old content at a high rate of speed, and vengeance in particular allows you to solo things in current Shadowlands content that few other classes can (I’m looking at you, Perdition Hold).

I am in the same situation far as making a come back to try to solo old stuff up to legion mythic stuff prolly. The debate is on for druid, DK, or DH… hate being an elf though.
